Arnold Chazal is the Co-Founder of VUEMED and began developing VueTrack in 2006. As its CEO, he has shaped VUEMED as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) company that is committed to providing affordable technologies to healthcare organizations that help them achieve higher performance levels and reduce costs and risks while delivering a high ROI. From 1999 until 2007 Arnold was a Founding Partner at Kieris Solutions, a U.S.-based medical market research and consulting firm with clients throughout North America and Europe. Overall, Arnold has spent 18 years in the management consulting and business intelligence industry in the U.S. providing strategic advice, technology implementation, and process improvement solutions to Fortune companies, primarily in the healthcare field. He holds a B.A. from Nanterre University in Paris and a J.D. from the University of Sorbonne Law School, and completed graduate studies at Oxford University and Harvard Law School.
Lana Makhanik is the Co-Founder of VUEMED. As its Chief Operations Officer, she is responsible for developing and managing key customer and partner relationships, including product development projects that build new inventory management tools and services. As part of VUEMED’s consulting services, Lana works closely with heads of hospital specialty procedure departments and materials management. She is also involved with industry-wide supply chain initiatives through such organizations as the Association for Healthcare Resource & Materials Management and Strategic Marketplace Initiative. Prior to starting VUEMED, Lana was a Founding Partner at the medical market research and consulting firm Kieris Solutions for eight years, where she focused on process optimization, organizational mapping, customer values alignment, benchmarking, and best practices research. She holds a B.S. in Cognitive Science from Wellesley College.
Pavel Rozalski oversees the main design and feature development of the VueTrack application, as well as the infrastructure for interface building and management of VUEMED data. As its Chief Technology Officer, he also manages VUEMED’s customer support team and works closely with customers’ IT organizations. Prior to joining VUEMED, Pavel was a senior software engineer at Microsoft, working on a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) application for small businesses (integrated with Microsoft Outlook). Before Microsoft, he was a software engineer at LinkExchange where he developed an inventory management system for its banner advertising network (LinkExchange was purchased by Microsoft in 1998). Pavel began his career working on 3D data visualization for businesses at a Toronto-based Visible Decisions in 1993. He holds a B.S. in Computer Science from the University of Toronto.
E.V.P. of Sales, Chief Sales Officer
Kyle Hathaway is the Chief Sales Officer for VUEMED, joining our team in the fall of 2013. He is responsible for executing our sales initiatives and assisting in all facets of our go-to-market and business development strategies. Kyle spent 4 years in the Private Equity industry holding numerous Sales, Finance, and Operational Management positions with Lehman Brothers and their subsidiary holdings focused in distressed equity, turnaround, and mergers and acquisitions markets. From 2003-2010 he joined PECI Flotation and assisted the start-up and go-to-market planning, development of the third party supply chain model for a leading reseller of flotation devices to the Department of Defense. Four years ago, he entered the healthcare field, where he led two companies focused on healthcare inventory management and supply chain optimization before joining VUEMED. Kyle holds a BSBA in Accounting, with a minor concentration in International Business from Old Dominion University.
Joe Dugan is VUEMED’s leader for VueTrack-RF technologies and application solutions. Prior to joining VUEMED Joe was a founding member of MIT’s Auto-ID labs and has developed groundbreaking RFID solutions while leading four major RFID companies including Vizional Technologies and RF Code Inc. He co-owns 4 RFID patents and has led global consulting teams for Capgemini, Hackett Group/Answerthink and Accenture. Overall, Joe has spent over 15 years introducing technology and process optimization, including lean management, into healthcare as both a management consultant and technologist. Joe has worked extensively on the “Chain of Custody” ePedigree initiatives for the Department of Homeland Security, FDA, and State Pharmaceutical Boards, implementing RFID as the enabling technology. His experience includes major implementations of healthcare ERP, supply chain, EHR and EAS Systems as well as technology innovation across industries for major corporations and governments. He holds a BS in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and an MBA from Johns Hopkins University.

Kim Slote has worked in the healthcare field since 2004. For six years she was the Director of Education & Advocacy at a women’s healthcare organization, managing its political affairs, public relations, communications, and community education efforts. Prior to that, she was a Research Scientist at the Wellesley Centers for Women at Wellesley College, focusing on women’s and children’s health and safety. In 2010 Kim joined VUEMED as its V.P. of Special Projects, managing key contents aspects of VueTrack’s expansion into operating rooms and surgical centers. In 2011 she took charge of VUEMED’s Communications Department with the chief responsibility of developing and implementing new marketing, branding and communications strategies. Kim also manages Human Resources for VUEMED. Kim received her B.A. from Wesleyan University and her J.D. from Harvard Law School.
Director of Implementation Services, VUEMED
Alex Barinaga is the Director of Implementation Services for VUEMED, joining our team in the summer of 2014. He is responsible for implementing and managing key customer and partner relationships, including product deployment projects and infrastructure design and installation. Alex has over 10 years of technical, sales, customer service, and inventory experience. Alex also spent 5 years in retail and healthcare inventory management where he served as the Corporate Manager of Information Technology. His expertise is in barcoding, software development and RFID technology. He holds a BA in Management Information Systems from Florida International University.
Director of Implementation Services, VueTrack
Jami Youmans is the Director of Implementation Services for all VueTrack solutions including point-of-use scanning and RFID technologies. She is responsible for system implementations, project management, and customer training and support. Jami comes to VUEMED with nearly nine years of healthcare experience and hospital-based supply chain management, including procurement services, capital management, ERP systems transitions, inventory and materials management, and medical economics structures. She is trained and certified in healthcare change management methodologies as well as lean transformation practices. Jami holds a BS in Cell and Molecular Biology, Chemistry from Missouri State University and a Masters in Health Administration from Saint Louis University. After receiving her masters, Jami completed an Administrative Fellowship with a major academic health system in Chicago, IL.
