April 2013: VUEMED and Optimé Supply Chain have joined forces to create OptiVue™, an exclusive Web-based software solution that gives hospital managers and administrators reliable and comprehensive clinical utilization data, as well as the means to analyze and act on it. OptiVue™ successfully breaks down IT system silos in hospitals and creates a seamless, integrated data flow from otherwise fragmented applications, such as materials management, clinical information systems, billing and electronic medical records. December 2012: VUEMED is pleased to announce that Version 5 (V5) of our VueTrack™ software is now being implemented at many of our customer sites as part of the free upgrade program that comes with their subscription to VueTrack™. Numerous enhancements have been made that are visibly boosting the user’s experience. For example, the V5 scanning application now has an audit tool for periodic or annual inventory recount that enhances inventory accuracy. Furthermore, our all-new V5 web reporting system uses cutting-edge technology that dramatically increases its reporting capabilities, allowing for even more impressive data analyses and comparisons. It also now includes a dashboard that displays all vital information about inventory status and usage transactions, while providing one-click access to custom reports and a more comprehensive and intuitive search function. In addition, our new version of VueTrack™ also enables users to maintain full traceability of surgical case carts, manage product orders and correct inventory discrepancies more effectively, and provide more powerful financial reporting about the composition, usage and value of inventory.
October 2012: Our Germany-based partner, Madera, is adding Belgium and the Netherlands to its VueTrack™ distribution territory.
July 2012: VUEMED is pleased to announce its expansion into the U.K. through an exclusive partnership with Accord Medical Ltd. based in Wembdon, England.
May 2012: VUEMED has recently witnessed an upsurge in the interest of smaller hospital departments in finding effective inventory management tools. Our recent implementation of VueTrack™ in the GI department at Massachusetts General Hospital is an example of such interest, and we look forward to continuing our longstanding partnership with MGH.
December 2011: VUEMED expands further into Australia with the implementation of VueTrack™ in the Cath Lab at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney. VUEMED works in collaboration with Imaxeon in Australia, its exclusive local distributor.
December 2010: VUEMED expands to Australia with the installation of VueTrack™ in the Interventional Radiology Department at Liverpool Hospital in Sydney. Liverpool Hospital is the largest tertiary facility in New South Wales with a capacity of 855 beds. VUEMED’s expansion into Australia is being conducted in partnership with its exclusive local distributor Imaxeon in Sydney, NSW, a distributor and manufacturer of medical products.
October 2010: VUEMED expands to Europe with the signing of an exclusive distribution agreement with the medical products distribution firm Madera, based in Saarbrücken, Germany. The VUEMED/Madera partnership will focus on distributing VueTrack™ in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Luxembourg, and Lichtenstein.
